White Cross Training provides child-led first aid courses that are both informative and fun for home-educated children. Our sessions emphasise hands-on learning, allowing children to explore first aid equipment and understand the significance of developing these critical skills.

First Aid for Home Educated Children – Building Real-Life Skills

 

At White Cross Training, we recognise the unique learning needs of home-educated children and have developed our first aid courses to be both engaging and empowering.

Choose from two comprehensive course options:

 

Introductory First Aid Course (2-Hours) – Suitable for All Ages

  • Hands-on, relaxed, and interactive learning experience.
  • Opportunity to practice with real first aid equipment.
  • Acquire fundamental first aid skills that can make a significant impact.
  • All participants receive a certificate of completion.
  • Cost: £150.00 (£180.00 incl. VAT) for up to 15 children (excluding children under 5).
  • Please note: A group organiser is required to arrange payment and secure a venue. Venue hire is not included.

 

First Aid for Young Responders (2-Part Course) – For Ages 10 and Above

Session 1 (3-Hours): Basic Life Support

  • Learn essential techniques including CPR, choking management, and casualty assessment.

Home Learning Challenges

  • Reinforce learned skills with practical home-based activities.

Session 2 (3-Hours): Managing Illnesses and Injuries

  • Cover a range of topics including burns, head injuries, asthma, shock, and fainting.
  • All participants receive a certificate of completion.
  • Cost: £400.00 (£480.00 incl. VAT) for up to 15 children.
  • Please note: A group organiser is required to arrange payment and secure a venue. Venue hire is not included.
