Activities for Scout groups – Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers

We can deliver first aid courses on-site to groups of up to 20 children wishing to earn their Emergency Aid staged activity badges.

Emergency Aid staged activity badges 1-2 can be trained and assessed by a scout leader familiar with the supporting programme material. Of course, if you’d rather use an external provider, we would be more than happy to be a part of your children’s training.

Stage 3 – This stage requires four to five hours of training and activity and should be trained and assessed by an adult with current experience of first aid training, who holds a first response or equivalent external qualification and is familiar with the resource material.

Stage 4 – This stage requires eight hours of training and activity and should be trained and assessed by arrangement with an adult holding a full first aid qualification and validated skills from the adult training scheme in presenting and facilitating. Alternatively, a qualified first aid trainer from an externally recognised organisation may fulfil this role.

Stage 5 – This stage requires 16 hours of training and activity and should be trained and assessed by a holder of a current externally recognised first aid trainer qualification.
