SUMMARY:Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF)
DESCRIPTION:The Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) qualification is designed specifically for people who look after babies and children\, including child minders\, crèche leaders\, nannies\, au pairs\, nursery and pre-school workers\, teachers and teaching assistants\, and sport and leisure staff. \nIt provides theoretical and practical training in first aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1 and children aged from 1 to 18 years old. By undertaking this training\, you are ensuring that you know what to do in a paediatric first aid situation as well as meeting the Department for Education’s requirements and the standards outlined in the EYFS Statutory Frameworks. \nThe accredited Emergency Paediatric First Aid course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 where applicable and is delivered in line with current HSE guidance. The course also aligns with the latest Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines\, as required by the HSE. \nThis 1-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course can be used as the first day of the 2-day Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) qualification. Below\, you can book the blended learning option\, where the practical session takes place on the same day. If you would prefer to complete the qualification as two face-to-face days\, please contact us before booking so that we can arrange this for you. \nSpaces on our courses are limited to a maximum of 12 people. A hands-on approach ensures that you will learn first aid skills and have the confidence to use them in a real life situation. \nThe Sherford Community Hub is located in the heart of Sherford\, close to the centre of Plymouth and surrounding areas including Torbay\, Exeter\, Tavistock\, Saltash\, Liskeard and Torpoint.
