FIRST AID COURSES – Cancellation & Refund Policy

White Cross Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses without penalty or liability. We will make every effort to promptly inform participants in the event of a course cancellation or rescheduling and are committed to collaborating with you to find alternative dates are convenient.

  1. Eligibility for Refund:

Refunds will be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Course Cancellation: We do our upmost to ensure it doesn’t happen, but on the rare occasion that White Cross Training cancels a course, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Withdrawal: If you need to withdraw from a course before it begins, you may be eligible for a refund based on the timeline and conditions outlined below.
  1. Refund Request Timeline:

Refund requests must be made to White Cross Training within the following timeframes:

  • Over 10 days before the course start date: A full refund, minus a small administrative fee, will be provided.
  • 4 to 10 days before the course start date: A 50% refund will be provided.
  • Less than 72 hours before the course start date: No refund will be issued.

We welcome participant substitutions at no additional cost, as long as the replacement meets the course prerequisites and their details are provided ahead of the scheduled training.

  1. Administrative Fee:

An administrative fee may apply to all refund requests to cover registration costs. The fee will vary depending on the course and the timing of your refund request.

  1. Refund Process:

To request a refund, please contact us by email (info@whitecrosstraining.co.uk) or by phone (07787772332). Please provide your name, course details, and the reason for your refund request.

Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving your request. The refund will be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.

  1. Course Rescheduling:

If you need to reschedule your course rather than cancel, please contact us to explore alternative course dates. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

  1. No-Show Policy:

Failure to attend a course without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

  1. Exceptional Circumstances:

In cases of exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), we may consider refund requests outside the standard policy. Please contact us with any special situations. 

  1. Qualification Attainment:

Participants enrolled in qualification courses should be aware that successful course completion necessitates a clear grasp of fundamental principles and competence in the selection, administration, and proficiency in using the techniques and equipment covered in the course. While White Cross Training is committed to delivering high-quality training and ensuring fairness in awarding qualifications, it cannot guarantee that every participant will attain such qualifications.

  • Service Cancellation: We do our upmost to ensure it doesn’t happen, but on the rare occasion that White Cross Training is unable to provide first aid event cover for your event due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the service fee will be issued.
  • Cancellation by Event Organiser: If a decision is made to cancel our first aid event cover services, refunds may be available based on the timeline and conditions outlined below.
