SUMMARY:Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF)
DESCRIPTION:The Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) qualification is designed specifically for people who look after babies and children\, including child minders\, crèche leaders\, nannies\, au pairs\, nursery and pre-school workers\, teachers and teaching assistants\, and sport and leisure staff. \nIt provides theoretical and practical training in first aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1 and children aged from 1 to 18 years old. By undertaking this training\, you are ensuring that you know what to do in a paediatric first aid situation as well as meeting the Department for Education’s requirements and the standards outlined in the EYFS Statutory Frameworks. \nThe Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is a regulated 1- day course. The course meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021. It can also be used as the first day of the 2-day Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) course. If you are interested in completing this longer course\, please get in touch before booking so that we can arrange a date. \nSpaces on the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course are limited to a maximum of 12 people. It is ideal for small to medium-sized organisations\, low risk industries\, people who require the qualification for freelance work as well as members of the general public who want the reassurance that they know how to deal with a first aid situation should it arise at home or out and about. \nThe accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the guidelines and requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent changes made in 2016. It meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements. \nThis 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course can also be used as the first day of the 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course as well as the 2-day Paediatric First Aid course.
