The First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) (FAW) qualification is suitable for people who might need to respond to a wide range of accidents, injuries and illnesses that they could come across in their workplace. It is an ideal course for large organisations and businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace.
The accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and is delivered in line with current HSE guidance. The course also aligns with the latest Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines, as required by the HSE.
The 3-day First Aid at Work course can also be combined with the 2-day Paediatric First Aid course and the Forest Schools 16-Hour First Aid Level 3 (VTQ) course. There is also the option of completing a First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) – High Risk course which is ideal for businesses whose risk assessment has identified a high risk of excessive bleeding accidents. This version of the FAW course covers training in the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings. If you are interested in completing one of these other courses, please get in touch before booking.
The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is an ideal venue in the centre of Plymouth, Devon.
