They’ll be a fun Halloween twist for this course!
Some of what could be covered, depending on the children’s interests, includes:
- fainting from the shock of seeing a ghost (recovery position and shock position)
- heart-stopping potion from a witch (CPR & AED)
- sweets (choking and allergic reactions)
- evil cat scratch (infections & minor wounds)
- vampire bite (bleeding)
- falling off a broom (head injuries and fractures)
Our first aid courses for home educated children are relaxed, fun, flexible and child-led. Children may not engage for the full two hours but we allow plenty of time for them to come and go, joining in with the activities they are most interested in. The sessions are about children just having a go, trying out the equipment and seeing the importance in learning some first aid skills – skills they may one day use themselves!
These sessions are free for siblings under 5; you do not need to book a ticket for them.
Parents are respectively asked to attend alongside their children at no additional cost.
A group discount will be applied when more than one ticket is purchased. We kindly ask that you only book tickets for your own family.
